PPS-Motors respects your privacy. Here we explain which data we collect through this website, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Which data do we collect?

  • Contact form: name, email address, phone (optional), subject, message and, where applicable, the car you are interested in.
  • Sell your car: name, email address, phone, details of your car (make, model, mileage, fuel, registration date, asking price, remarks) and the photos you send.
  • Import request (if this page is active): name, email address, phone and your wishes for the car you are looking for.
  • WhatsApp and phone: if you contact us via WhatsApp or by phone, we only use your number and messages to reply to you. WhatsApp is a Meta service with its own privacy policy.

We do not collect sensitive data and do not use analytics or advertising tools that track you on this website.

Why do we use this data?

Only to answer your question, make you an offer for your car, search for a car for you or prepare a purchase. The legal basis is your consent (the checkbox under the form) and the pre-contractual steps you request (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). We never use your data for marketing without your explicit consent and we never sell it.

How long do we keep your data?

No longer than necessary: in principle no more than two years after our last contact. If you buy or sell a car with us, we keep the required data for as long as the law requires (for example for accounting).

Who do we share your data with?

We do not share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. To run this website we use service providers that process data on our behalf:

  • Vercel (website hosting and storage of requests, servers in Frankfurt, EU).
  • Formspree (forwarding form submissions to our mailbox).

Where these providers process data outside the EU, they do so under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Third-party services on this website

  • Facebook (Meta): the homepage shows our Facebook page. Facebook may set cookies and receive your IP address.
  • Google Maps: the contact page shows a Google map. Google receives your IP address and may set cookies.
  • Google Fonts and Cloudflare (cdnjs): fonts and icons are loaded from these services, which receive your IP address.
  • External links (AutoScout24, Car-Pass, Instagram, WhatsApp): when you click them, that website's privacy policy applies.

Cookies

This website does not use its own tracking cookies. To remember whether you have already seen the WhatsApp bubble, your browser keeps a small flag for the duration of your visit only. The third-party services above (Facebook, Google) may set their own cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data (portability) and to withdraw your consent at any time. Simply email info@pps-motors.com. We reply within one month.

Not happy with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Security

Your data is sent over a secure connection (HTTPS) and only PPS-Motors has access to it through a protected management environment.
